Email Marketing

Settings

Connect a sending provider and set your default sender identity.

Custom SMTP cannot connect from this app, on any host or port. This has now been tested against several different mail servers and ports (587, 465, 2525) and every one fails the same way: the network this app runs on does not allow outbound raw SMTP connections at all. That is not a wrong host/port/password — changing those will not fix it. Use Resend below instead — it sends over plain HTTPS, which this network does allow, and delivers within a minute of pasting a key. Custom SMTP is left in place below only in case a future host is reachable, but do not rely on it.

Sender identity

Used as the default "from" on new campaigns and test sends.

Sending provider

If both are filled in, the one selected here is used. Leave on "Automatic" to prefer Resend whenever it's configured (it's the reliable option — see above).

Resend (HTTPS API) — recommended, fast to set up

Not active

Create a free account at resend.com, verify a sending domain (or use their shared test domain to start), and paste an API key below.

Custom SMTP — not currently reachable from this app

Active — used for sending

Connects directly to your mail server (Gmail, Outlook, your own PMTA/relay, a marketing SMTP provider, …). Testing has shown this app's network blocks outbound SMTP connections entirely, on every host and port tried so far — a "Failed to connect" here is that, not a mistake in what you typed below. Use Resend above; it's the option that works.

Gmail/Outlook/Yahoo require an app password, not your normal login password (their account security settings have a section for generating one). SMTP-relay providers give you a username + API/SMTP key instead.

Send a test email

Sends through whichever provider is marked "Active" above right now — save settings first if you just changed them.
